Sentinel Protection Installer is an integrated installer of the Sentinel System Driver, Sentinel Security Runtime, Sentinel Protection Server, and Sentinel Keys Server.

Feature Highlights

  • Sentinel System Drivers certified for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012
  • SHK License Monitor and SSP License Monitor supports Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10 (in desktop mode), Chrome 23.0.1271.97 and Firefox 17.0.1
  • Supports Java Runtime version 6 update 38 and version 7 update 10

Sentinel Protection Installer is an integrated installer of the Sentinel System Driver,Sentinel Security Runtime, Sentinel Protection Server, and Sentinel Keys Server.

Enhancements:

  • Support of Windows 8.1 has been added.
  • The potential buffer overflow with Sentinel Protection Server 7.6.1 has been handled.
  • Sentinel Keys Server Exploit (DoS) has been handled.
  • In UltraPro, Error 66 “BAD_SERVER_MESSAGE” instead of Error 70 “NOLICENSE_AVAILABLE” which occurs if SetContactServer is set to IP address of server (no broadcasting) has been handled.

Sentinel Protection Installer 7.6.7  is now available for download from Sentinel Customer Community.

The Sentinel Protection Installer is an integrated installer of Sentinel System Driver and Sentinel Protection Server.

Enhancements:

  • Supports Macintosh OS X 10.10 (Yosemite).
  •  Auto launch of Sentinel Server on Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) at boot time.

Sentinel Protection Installer 7.4.2  for Sentinel UltraPro keys on Macintosh is now available at Sentinel Customer Community.

The Sentinel Protection Installer (SPI) version 7.6.1 for Sentinel SuperPro and Sentinel UltraPro on Linux is available for download.

 Feature Highlights:

  • Support of new versions of Linux OS. Refer to release notes for the complete list.
  • Support of Java 7 for Sentinel Keys License Monitor
  • Enable auto-start of services on Linux OS which are based on either init.d or systemd

 Feature Highlights:

  • Sentinel System Driver and Sentinel Protection Installer support installation when Application Compatibility Engine is turned off.
  • Support of Java 7 and 8 has been provided in Sentinel Protection Server.

SPI 7.6.9 Windows Installer for SuperPro/SHK/UltraPro has been released.

Enhancements and Problems Corrected in This Release

  • For Sentinel System Driver, the support for Windows 10 Credential Guard and Device Guard has been added.
  • Parallel Drivers installation has been removed from the default installation path. If required, a customer can install it from the custom installation path.
  • The support for Applets has been removed. Now Sentinel License Monitor requires Javascript to be enabled to run.
  • The dependency on OpenSSL has been removed.

It is available by navigating the legacy SCC site and also navigating the “new” portal at https://supportportal.gemalto.com/csm (search “7.6.9” or “Sentinel Protection Installer” )
